We promote the social and professional reintegration of people receiving social assistance, we welcome and accommodate asylum seekers whom we support in their integration process. Finally, we participate in the fight against the isolation of seniors.

We are more than 1,600 employees spread over 60 sites throughout the canton. We support more than 40,000 people.

Job Description

Your mission

Assist Hospice général particularly in its activities related to social assistance and professional integration, ensuring compliance with the legal framework.

Your main activities

Act as a legal expert in the field of social law, notably by:

  • providing the necessary legal support especially to the general management as well as to the social action and integration departments and operational support;
  • providing legal advice and opinions on the ground;
  • developing directives and internal documents necessary for the application of the LASLP;
  • reviewing contracts, particularly service contracts;
  • participating in the reflection and development of the legal framework regarding social assistance (laws, regulations, and decrees);
  • handling various legal issues referred to the legal department.
Qualifications

Your profile

  • Holder of a complete legal education with a Swiss lawyer’s licence (essential);
  • Professional experience in social law;
  • Experience working with management would be an asset;
  • Good writing skills and good knowledge of the functioning of Geneva and federal institutions.
