Our client, a recognised trust company in Geneva composed of around twenty collaborators, is looking for a Trust Accountant to manage a diverse portfolio of Swiss SMEs and support its clients with their accounting, tax and administrative challenges.

About the role

As a Trust Accountant, you independently manage all accounting operations for your clients. A true trusted partner, you ensure rigorous follow-up while providing close advice.

Tasks

  • Accounting and review for a portfolio of Swiss SMEs
  • Ensure the maintenance and review of accounts
  • Control and record routine entries
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual closings
  • Prepare financial statements and management reports
  • Prepare and check VAT returns
  • Manage salaries and declarations to social insurance
  • Perform bank reconciliations and closing entries
  • Support and advise clients on their accounting and administrative issues

We are looking for

  • Experience in a trust company in Switzerland
  • Knowledge of the full accounting cycle up to closing
  • Strong knowledge of VAT and payroll management
  • A good level of English (minimum B2)
  • An autonomous, rigorous and client-oriented person
