Mandated by our client, a major player in catering located in one of the largest establishments in the Rhône plain, we are looking for a responsible position, their future:
Head Chef (M/F)
Job DescriptionAs Head Chef, you are responsible for organising and planning the activity of the entire culinary department according to the expected attendance. You manage stock, orders and delivery logistics, anticipating the needs of teams and customers.
You supervise the kitchen teams, establishing schedules, leading briefings and ensuring a positive and professional dynamic within the kitchen. You strictly ensure compliance with hygiene standards (HACCP), workplace safety and proper use of equipment.
You are also responsible for monitoring daily results: cost control, weekly reporting and profitability analysis. You ensure cleanliness, maintenance and proper functioning of installations, storage areas and kitchen equipment.
Finally, you guarantee the quality of the customer experience, which you ensure is smooth, pleasant and welcoming, even during busy periods.
Profile sought- Diploma in hospitality-catering (CFC, hotel school or equivalent), holding a licence is an asset
- Proven experience in restaurant management or as a head chef in a demanding environment
- Natural leadership, team spirit, service mindset and hands-on approach
- Proficiency with IT tools and management standards in catering
- Ability to work at altitude and in a dynamic mountain environment
- Available, flexible, stress-resistant
