About the role

For our client, a regionally important organisation and a pillar of the Vaud economic fabric, we are looking for an accounting assistant to support the team.

The role involves managing day-to-day operational accounting, monitoring financial flows, and actively participating in the organisation’s financial closings.

Our client offers a three-month assignment within a close-knit team, providing a socially rich working environment and varied tasks that allow you to fully apply your accounting skills.

Tasks

• Post and enter daily cash transactions
• Record invoices and manage supplier and debtor payments
• Ensure operational monitoring of the fixed assets module
• Ensure compliance with the supplier validation process
• Reconcile cash accounts and subsidiary ledgers weekly
• Participate in budget preparation and annual closings
• Handle first-level responses to email enquiries

We are looking for

• Some experience in accounting, in an SME or fiduciary, is a strong advantage
• Good knowledge of an accounting ERP, ideally Abacus
• Fluency in French
• Knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• Immediate availability
• Responsible, organised and sociable personality
