Our client is a consulting engineering firm specialised in environmental studies and realisations. Active on the market for 20 years, the firm operates with multidisciplinary approaches, from design to project realisation. They intervene from the preliminary study stage to site management on large-scale projects. They have commissioned us to recruit their future Experienced Environmental Project Manager (M/F).

Responsibilities

Contaminated sites and soils:

• Investigations according to OLED, OSites and OSol: monitoring of boreholes, sampling of soil and groundwater, preliminary investigations, detailed investigations, remediation projects, pedological study
• Monitoring of remediation works: management/valorisation concepts for soil / excavation / deconstruction materials, general cost estimate, tendering, work supervision

Environmental realisation monitoring (ERM)

• Environmental impact study and report
• Control of environmental compliance of construction sites through regular visits (water, air, noise and air)

Sustainable construction

• Management of ecological building certification
• Selection of ecological construction materials/products
• Carbon footprint

Through the quality of your work and your commitment, you contribute to the development of new activities and the acquisition of mandates through the preparation of technical and commercial offers.

Candidate profile

• Degree in engineering from EPF or HES in environmental sciences and techniques, geologist, hydrogeologist or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position in a consulting firm
• Ability to independently lead and coordinate mandates
• Knowledge of Swiss legislation (an advantage) related to the environment (OLED, OSites, OSol, OEaux, LPE, etc.)
• Team spirit, analytical mind, excellent organisation and stress resistance
• French: C1, excellent writing, synthesis and communication skills
