Adult and Youth Protection Service (SPAJ) - Child Protection Office (OPE)
The missions of SPAJ consist of ensuring prevention, promotion, and protection of youth and providing support for adults in difficulty. The service develops and funds outpatient care for children and guarantees the well-being of placed children while financially supporting extrafamilial care structures and specialised educational institutions.

Your missions
Within the scope of your role, you carry out social work in the field of youth protection in collaboration with families and institutions.
You conduct social investigations for civil, criminal, and administrative judicial authorities, manage civil and criminal guardianship mandates, respond to consultations, and handle voluntary mandates.

Your profile
Holder of a diploma in social sciences or an equivalent qualification, awarded by a University of Applied Sciences or a recognised university, you have specific training in child protection (CAS) or are willing to undertake it while employed.
Your professional background demonstrates extensive experience in the care and support of children in difficulty, and you possess good knowledge of the Neuchâtel social and judicial network.
You know how to manage stress in a demanding context and enjoy working in a team and network.
Holder of a driving licence and owning a motor vehicle, you are willing to use it for work purposes.
