Adult and Youth Protection Service (SPAJ) - Child Protection Office (OPE)
The missions of SPAJ consist of ensuring prevention, promotion and protection of youth and taking care of adults in difficulty. The service develops and funds outpatient care for children and guarantees the well-being of placed children while financially supporting extrafamilial care structures and specialised education institutions.

Your missions
Within the scope of your role, you carry out social work in the field of youth protection in collaboration with families and institutions.
You conduct social investigations for civil, criminal and administrative judicial authorities, assume civil and criminal guardianship mandates, respond to consultations and take charge of voluntary mandates.

Your profile
Holder of a diploma in social sciences or an equivalent qualification, issued by a University of Applied Sciences or a recognised university, you have specific training in child protection (CAS) or are willing to undertake it while employed.
Your professional background demonstrates extensive experience in the care and support of children in difficulty and you possess good knowledge of the Neuchâtel social and judicial network.
You know how to manage stress in a demanding context and also work in a team and network.
Holder of a driving licence and a motor vehicle, you are willing to use it for service purposes.
