Our client is a well-known architectural firm in the Lausanne region, active on varied and ambitious projects.

To strengthen their team, we are looking for a Construction Cost Engineer capable of supporting projects from the design phase through to completion, with a strong sensitivity to economic and technical issues.

Responsibilities

Your main duties are:

- Prepare cost estimates and calculations at the various SIA phases.

- Produce general quotes and tender specifications.

- Prepare calls for tenders and analyse the bids received.

- Participate in negotiations with contractors and suppliers.

- Ensure financial monitoring of projects and cost control.

- Establish offer comparisons and award recommendations.

- Work closely with architects, site managers and specialised consultants.

- Contribute to the economic optimisation of projects while ensuring the quality of the deliverables.

Candidate Profile

Your profile:

- Training in the construction field (ES technician, architect, engineer, construction cost engineer or equivalent training).

- Proven experience in Switzerland in a similar role.

- Good knowledge of SIA standards and the French-speaking Swiss construction market.

- Mastery of tender processes and bids. Comfortable with common IT tools, especially Excel.

- Analytical mind, rigour and organisational skills.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and a taste for teamwork.
