The Municipality is advertising the position of
Architect / Municipal Engineer, Building Control, Works, Urban Planning at 100%
Main responsibilities
• Ensure the complete management of construction files, from project analysis to the issuance of building, habitation and usage permits.
• Monitor works and maintenance of roads, municipal buildings, pipelines and public lighting.
• Advise and support owners, agents, architects and professionals in their procedures and in the application of municipal regulations.
• Guarantee the legal, regulatory and technical compliance of projects submitted to the Municipality and ensure adherence to current standards.
• Manage tenders and public inquiries.
• Conduct on-site compliance inspections, participate in health and safety visits and oversee construction sites until completion.
• Actively participate in the development and optimisation of service processes to meet the growing challenges related to territorial development.
• Contribute, through your expertise and public service commitment, to the harmonious development of the municipality and the enhancement of its built heritage.
Your profile
• Your analytical skills enable you to assess sometimes complex situations and make well-founded decisions.
• Organised and methodical, you efficiently manage several files and priorities simultaneously.
• You have proven experience in Switzerland managing construction files within an architectural or engineering office.
• Practical experience in site management.
• Training in architecture, engineering or equivalent.
• Familiarity with building control procedures and the Vaud legal framework.
• You operate comfortably in an environment governed by demanding technical and regulatory standards.
• Autonomy, rigour and initiative enable you to advance projects professionally and judiciously.
• You know how to prioritise your tasks effectively with rigour and a sense of responsibility.
