As part of a project with the State of Valais, the Energy and Environment Institute of the School of Engineering is looking for a:

Your mission
The State of Valais manages a portfolio of around 400 buildings equipped with technical installations, monitored via a CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) that centralises the equipment. The position is part of the energy management and decarbonisation strategy of the State of Valais's building portfolio, through the development of planned maintenance to reduce operating costs, energy consumption and CO₂ emissions.
In this context, your main tasks are:
Field coordination
Take charge of the tool developed for verifying the database on site (tool created by the student body)
Plan building visits and supervise the students responsible for verification via QR codes during August
Process, verify and structure the collected data, then import it into the CMMS
Development and structuring of the CMMS
Take charge of the existing CMMS tool
Create and structure maintenance ranges
Set up a maintenance schedule linked to the defined ranges
Collaborate with the CMMS publisher for its improvement and deployment
The objectives of the position are as follows:
Optimise the energy performance of buildings
Ensure reliability of technical data
Structure and improve the CMMS
Implement effective and planned preventive maintenance
Your profile:
Education:
Training in computer science, engineering or data
Technical skills:
Proficiency in Excel and data processing
Knowledge of Python (an asset)
Personal qualities:
Autonomy
Rigor
Good organisational skills
Interest in energy topics and optimisation of building performance
Work rate 100%
