Acting on behalf of the University Hospitals of the cantons of Vaud and Geneva, the central biomedical engineering unit (CAIB) ensures the supply of medical goods, general supplies, and equipment under the best market conditions. Buyer - 100% As a buyer, you centralize the various needs arising from the University Hospitals of Geneva (HUG) and lead procurement processes in accordance with market rules with the buyers and managers of CAIB. You are responsible for the development and deployment of the supplier panel under your responsibility. In this capacity, you conduct calls for tenders, collaborating with your internal clients, and get involved from the definition of the need through to the follow-up of development. You contribute to the CAIB affiliate network by sharing your expertise and knowledge of market trends. You hold a higher education degree of Master's type or equivalent, preferably with a recognized Master's (KEDGE, DESMA, etc.). You have a minimum of 3 years of confirmed experience in procurement, with a proven first experience in healthcare procurement, ideally in hospital settings. You master the French language perfectly (spoken, read, and written) and have very good knowledge of English (C1 level). Excellent mastery and knowledge of additional tools are also required.
