You will provide your analytical skills and collaborate with suppliers, all in perfect compliance with the legal framework (OCIRT, AIMP, LMI, etc.) and in accordance with the principles of sustainable development, a pillar of energy service for a sustainable Geneva.You will be responsible for:- Leading and ensuring tender procedures according to current legal standards (notably AIMP), with the aim of allowing SIG to purchase at the best value;- Conducting necessary meetings with clients (internal services) to ensure their needs, issues, and risks are taken into account, in order to establish legally compliant tenders with relevant criteria;- Analyzing, evaluating, and verifying the acceptability of bids as well as the reliability of suppliers and preparing the reports derived from them;- Managing the process under your responsibility, notably: handling vendors based on issuing purchase orders, tracking deadlines, controlling invoices, and interfacing with suppliers to manage current business and ensuring mutual commitments between SIG and its suppliers are met;- Ensuring the quality control of suppliers through the development and maintenance of a quality assurance system;- Maintaining efficient contact networks, periodically evaluating supplier reliability, conducting market monitoring, and the economic fabric related to your activity portfolio to foster the development of new suppliers;- Contributing to the overall economic efficiency of SIG by: coordinating between different services, negotiating commercial terms, establishing frameworks to benefit from better prices and delivery times, and opportunities related to market trends.Your personality and your skillsAs a family buyer, you demonstrate exemplary conduct and know how to adopt a principle-guided approach with a strong sense of ethics, great open-mindedness, and agility in your working style. Equipped with very good organizational skills, you display both autonomy and leadership while maintaining a strong team spirit within the management. Furthermore, you are experienced in managing your activities in an environment that partially operates in project management mode. You are also recognized for your versatility and availability in supporting other buyer colleagues, who are essential to this position. You have experience in managing and working with multiple stakeholders, and you are a rigorous, curious individual passionate about the world of procurement.
