Biomedical Analysis Technician La Clinique de La Source is a unique multidisciplinary acute care establishment. We are looking for a Biomedical Analysis Technician with the following details: Reference: CLS/RH/ / Type of contract: Permanent Full-time / Hours: Monday to Sunday, starting at 7:00 AM and finishing no later than 7:00 PM according to schedule + night shift from 3:30 PM to midnight followed by on-call until 6:30 AM / Start date: as soon as the right person is found / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 X Riponne or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop “Beaulieu-Jomini”) Why do we need you? Following the departure of the current post-holder, we are seeking a new colleague for the team. You will be responsible for performing and technically validating routine analyses in order to provide the prescriber with results. What will you be doing? - Process the registration of files and manage them in the Laboratory Information System (LIS) - Perform and technically validate biological analyses for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes in routine sectors such as hemostasis, chemistry, and immunology, including urgent and/or emergency examinations according to procedures - Ensure compliance with analysis requests and sampling, and that the progress of analyses is in accordance with quality controls, maintenance, sample quality, etc. - Contribute to the writing and necessary procedures for compliance in your sector according to ISO standards - Participate in night on-call services and weekend shifts according to schedule Who will you work with? The team consists of 30 members and works daily to provide quality results to prescribers in a friendly and collaborative spirit. In this position, you will be supervised by Marie, the Head of the service, who is dedicated to maintaining a dynamic atmosphere within the department. With several years of experience in medical biology, she will help you grow in your areas of interest and lead projects with the support of a close-knit team. What do you need? - Degree in biomedical analysis (ES) or equivalent - Experience in versatile routine analysis - Mastery of procedures and technical protocols - Proficiency with common tools, especially the LIS system - Rigor, independence, attention to detail, and reliability in analysis processing - Availability for irregular hours (nights, weekends) - Team spirit and good communication skills - Good knowledge of quality requirements and ISO standards - Versatility across multiple analytical sectors - Knowledge of the LIS system Why La Clinique de La Source?
