Administrative Manager and Project Officer M/F
80-100% workload
within the Sports, Youth and Leisure Department.
Your tasks
In close collaboration with the head of department, you contribute to the smooth running and development of the sports sector. In this capacity, you will notably be required to:
- participate in the administrative, financial and organisational management of the sports sector;
- prepare the budget, monitor accounts and contribute to the annual management report;
- analyse subsidy applications and sports projects, prepare decision-making files and conduct necessary research;
- coordinate the sector’s communication (media, digital networks, website, promotional materials, relations with partners and personalities);
- lead the organisation of the Sion Sports and Youth Evening and contribute to the management of cross-cutting projects;
- ensure the drafting of minutes and actively participate in various working groups;
- represent the department with partners and, by delegation, assume certain responsibilities of the head of department in their absence.
Your profile
- hold a Bachelor’s degree from a University of Applied Sciences in economics or tourism, a diploma from a hotel school, or equivalent experience;
- have several years of experience in the field of sport or project management;
- possess excellent organisational, writing and analytical skills;
- be proficient with main office software and comfortable with digital tools;
- be a native French speaker and have good knowledge of German or English;
- demonstrate autonomy, initiative and an excellent sense of organisation;
- enjoy teamwork and maintain constructive relationships with a variety of interlocutors;
- show a strong sense of institutions and public service, responsibility and discretion;
- have an excellent sense of priorities and manage several files effectively in parallel;
- be willing to work occasionally in the evening or at weekends during sporting events;
- hold a driving licence.

Salary
According to the City of Sion staff regulations and the Municipality’s salary scale.
