THE FOUNDATION FOR SOCIOCULTURAL ANIMATION OF LAUSANNE (FASL) is a private foundation of public utility subsidised by the city of Lausanne. In partnership with neighbourhood associations, FASL manages 17 sociocultural animation venues and has more than 90 collaborators.

To complete the team of the Pôle-Sud Sociocultural Centre,we are looking for a:

Accounting Secretary at 40%

Responsibilities

Ensure the maintenance of the Centre's current accounting as well as closing operations;

Manage current payments and monitor expenses related to the smooth running of the Centre;

Monitor finances, produce tools to aid financial decision-making and prepare the necessary financial information for projects as well as for the committee and animation team;

Prepare the elements necessary for the preparation of an annual budget and the closing of accounts;

Manage administrative tasks and monitor payroll operations for collaborators, contractors and artists, including the preparation and verification of payroll statements, ensuring compliance with legal and social obligations (social security, withholding tax, etc.), advising teams on best practices, and preparing payroll summaries.

Maintain administrative, financial and HR databases;

Draft letters, minutes, reports and documents necessary for the committee and team;

Support facilitators in their administrative procedures and project follow-up;

Actively participate in the life of the Centre and contribute to the quality of its administrative functioning.

Profile

Commercial employee CFC or equivalent qualification;

Strong knowledge or experience in personnel administration (payroll and social insurance) highly desirable;

Proven experience in a secretarial-accounting role;

Very good command of common IT tools (Word, Excel, Outlook);

Knowledge of accounting software, ideally Winbiz;

Ease in organising work, managing priorities and simultaneously following up on several files;

Excellent writing skills and a sense of discretion;

Rigour, autonomy and sense of responsibility;

Willingness to work in a team operating according to shared governance principles, with a collaborative and co-constructive approach;

Strong interest and/or experience in sociocultural or cultural fields.
