The Yverdon Foundation for Childcare is a private foundation of public interest that manages 4 day care institutions, under the mandate of the Yverdon-les-Bains and surrounding areas Children’s Day Care Network (REAJY).

The FYAE has a central kitchen, a logistics and technical service, and a centralised general administration that supports more than 150 employees who work daily and together to ensure quality care for the approximately 420 registered children.

The Children’s House "Les Goélands" is located at Avenue des Trois-Lacs 3 in Yverdon-les-Bains. The Children’s House Les Goélands welcomes 69 children divided into 3 groups (Nurseries, Toddlers and Seniors).

To strengthen our educational team and guarantee the quality of our mission, we are looking for:

A Nursery Nurse ES / HES 60-95% Permanent Contract

Sector: Toddlers or Seniors

Main duties

• Ensure quality daily care for children in a collective extra-family setting
• Support the child’s overall development
• Collaborate with families and support parenting
• Collaborate with teams, management and partner networks
• Support learners (FPP training would be a plus but is not required)

Required skills

• Training as a Nursery Nurse ES / HES or Early Childhood Educator
• Professional experience, minimum 2 years, in the fields of childhood and/or special needs
• Ability to implement, question and develop the institution’s educational project
• Ability to manage a group of children and handle its dynamics professionally, appropriately and autonomously
• Observation, analysis and synthesis skills regarding encountered situations
• Ease in collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to self-evaluate and develop reflective practice
• Organised, committed, versatile, flexible and reliable
