Sous-ChefIntroduction Restaurant La Désalpe in Sion, known for its revisited Valais cuisine with a Mediterranean touch, is looking for a committed and structured Sous-Chef to support the development of the restaurant. We are searching for a passionate professional, capable of assisting the Chef in maintaining quality standards, consistency, and a modern and dynamic kitchen.Responsibilities - Assist the Chef in the daily management of the kitchen. - Supervise and train the kitchen team to ensure high-quality service. - Participate in the development of new menus and recipes. - Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards. - Manage stock and food product orders. Profile - Culinary training or equivalent experience confirmed. - Experience as a Sous-Chef or senior Chef de partie. - Leadership and understanding of Swiss hygiene standards. - Stress resistance and efficiency in a busy service. - Fluent in French (other languages are a plus). - Good knowledge of Valais cuisine and regional products (a stimulating work environment and opportunities for professional development and continued growth).
