Production Engineer or TechnicianBased in the Canton of Neuchâtel, Micro-Cameras & Space has been a trusted solutions provider in the field of for space for over 20 years. Specializing in imaging systems, we have developed numerous space instruments in with such as ESA, NASA, CNES, and major space actors like Airbus Defense and Space, Thales Alenia Space and OHB. Our contributions have supported missions to the Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, a comet nucleus (Rosetta), the Space and Earth are now looking for a talented Production Engineer or Technician to join our team to our exciting projects.ResponsibilitiesProject & Production- with engineering, mechanical, firmware, and software teams- production with technical in project reviews with clients, agencies, and suppliers, and manage ERP systems- priority management, and production KPI tracking.- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in ESD, cleanroom,- safety rules are upheld.- Contribute to specific electronic developments to support project and productionChain & Procurement- Purchase and manage components (EEE, PCB, mechanical) and the footprint up with suppliers/subcontractors (PCB/PCBA assembly, critical component procurement).- Secure critical procurement and track lead times, costs, and risks in the supply- in subcontractor selection and supplier quality audits and resolve non-conformity issues.Manufacturing & Assembly- Write, review, and manufacturing procedures, test and project deliverables in alignment with PA/QA and DFM (Design for Manufacturing)- BOM (Bill of and test high-precision space imaging systems, and traceability, management, and consistency (product/process).- Execute metrology, dimensional/electrical/optical measurements, and self-inspection to ensure quality.- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, work instructions (gammes), and assembly in prototype and tooling including 3D printing of mechanical- Lean methodologies and continuous improvement to production workflows.- Develop and maintain procedures supporting EN quality management- proper packaging of products for shipping and compliance with space industry standards.Testing & Quality Control- Conduct incoming goods inspection and ensure quality control of electrical and environmental testing (EMC, TVAC, thermal, according to defined procedures.- Perform MTF and test procedures, inspection protocols, and 8D reports foror technical degree, or equivalent in engineering, electronics, or a- years of relevant experience in industry.- Familiarity with cleanroom environments, EN , ECSS/NASA/MIL/IPC standards, and handling of sensitive- problem-solving skills and to detail.- Ability to work both independently and in a cross-functional team environment.- Fluency in English; knowledge of French is an asset.- Excellent and skills for interactions with suppliers, clients, andMicro-Cameras & Space , we offer:- The opportunity to work on cutting-edge space projects- A dynamic and work environment- Opportunities for professional growth and development- Direct contribution to spaceyou are excited about contributing to groundbreaking space projects and meet the listed above, we encourage you to fullythe required profile will receive a notesubmitted via recruitment or staffing agencies will not be considered.
