Youth Ministry Position at 50%The Church in the canton of Vaud is a living and committed community. More than 50 parishes, 5 departments, 5 linguistic missions, 280 motivated staff, and nearly volunteers with the same mission: to live their faith and share the values of the Gospel. The department for the accompaniment of young people (PASAJ) includes all activities related to youth ministry, whether within Church institutions or in pastoral units and networks. To join its team, the Intercultural Pastoral Unit (UPI) Nyon – Terre-Sainte is looking for a youth minister at 50%.Main activities:- Develop and carry out diversified activities and projects based on the needs of the field, the paths, desires, and backgrounds of young people in the Nyon and La Côte region.- Offer young people spaces to experience the richness of the Church (community life, listening to the Word, sacraments, liturgies adapted to the reality of young people, diaconal commitment, personal and spiritual development), while actively collaborating with parishes, pastoral teams, and various youth groups (parishes and missions).- Encourage volunteer commitment from young people and develop quality supervision (accompaniment, recognition).Profile sought:- You are of the Catholic faith, have experience in the Church, and hold an ecclesial mission.- You have a marked interest in the world of youth, and you have experience working with young people, with good communication and listening skills.- Ease of working in a team, sensitivity to the intercultural spirit, and experience in ecumenism.- Residence in the La Côte region would be an asset.Place of work: NyonStart date: September 1st or by agreementFor more information on the position:Please send your complete application file (cover letter, curriculum vitae, photo, copy of work certificates and diplomas), by July 15th, only via the job portal.
