We are looking for one of our clients in the watchmaking sector, based in Geneva:Precision Mechanic specialized in the setting and operation of wire electrical discharge machining (EDM) machines, to fill a position of Wire EDM Setter Mechanic.MISSION DESCRIPTION- Changeovers, setting up fixtures, clamps, and tooling, fine-tuning dimensions, and starting up Sodick brand machines. Knowledge of other EDM machine brands such as AgieCharmilles, Fanuc Robocut, or Mitsubishi is welcome.- Machining and inspection of manufactured parts, single parts, or very small series.- Sharp inspection skills using traditional inspection tools, 3D inspection, and optical inspection depending on the parts.- First-level maintenance.PROFILE- Holder of a CFC in polymechanics or CFC in micromechanics, vocational baccalaureate, or BTS in mechanical production engineering.- At least 5 years of experience in wire EDM, with a successful first experience of several years in the mechanical industry in Switzerland, ideally in the watchmaking sector or as a mold maker.- Excellent knowledge of blueprint reading.- Knowledge of inspection tools, including digital inspection tools.- Good mechanical technical sense to find quick and effective solutions.- Comfortable with tools for tracking vision systems to comply with visual inspections of manufactured parts.- Team spirit and cohesion. jidf4e7545aen jit0623aen jpiy26aen
