We are seeking an experienced System Administrator with a strong background in both Windows and Linux environments, to support and maintain our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of database systems, warehouse operations, and security controls, and will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and safety of our systems.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the internal IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and backup systems.
Ensure the availability, security, and optimal performance of all company IT systems.
Proactively monitor and resolve issues related to hardware, software, networks, and security.
Plan, implement, and manage IT infrastructure improvement projects with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and innovation.Provide advanced technical support to internal users, solving complex problems and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Integrate new tools and technologies into the existing IT infrastructure.
Collaborate with external vendors to manage IT services and equipment.
Create and maintain up-to-date documentation of IT systems and operational procedures.
Ensure compliance with company policies and best practices in IT security
Profile
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in system administration
- Strong expertise in Windows Server, Linux distributions, and virtualization technologies
- Proven experience with database management and optimization
- Familiarity with warehouse systems and logistics-related IT processes
- Solid understanding of IT security protocols and tools
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- German language skills are a plu
