We will work together Water-Gas Surveillance Officer (2 positions) We will work together As a Water-Gas Surveillance Officer within the Advice, Projects & Controls unit of the Drinking Water Gas activity, you will be responsible for carrying out inspections and leak detections on water and gas networks and connections. You will handle emergency interventions for safety and monitor leak indicators or compliance. You will participate in the various reception of works and network items, monitoring third-party sites and handling compliance and safety of water connections. The Advice, Projects and Controls (CPC) unit of the Drinking Water Gas (EPG) activity is under the Thermal, Gas and Water (TGE) Management. The unit's mission is to define technical and financial principles for connections of works and clients to the network, guarantee periodic checks, private service commissioning, manage the meter park, and reception of works. This unit is also responsible for emergency interventions for gas and water leaks and managing projects for dismantling/investments in private energy in the service of a sustainable Geneva. Your missions will be as follows: Manage: technical files and be comfortable with basic tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Sirs, Ecodo); Handle multiple cases in parallel along with their follow-ups; Think and contribute to the implementation of processes for the proper functioning of the group; Possess the ability to share and have group solidarity, and be proactive and solution-oriented; Be a source of proposals; Contribute to the efficiency of various specific tasks of the group, as well as cross-functional actions that may arise; Communicate and establish relationships with internal and external stakeholders; Contribute to maintaining the image of SIG and client satisfaction while ensuring the safety of citizens; In this activity, good stress management combined with a strong analytical capacity is essential to make decisions or perform specific actions, particularly regarding personal interventions and your skills. Academic background: Holder of a diploma in plumbing, heating or an equivalent title, completed by 3 years of experience in the gas and/or water field; Must be certified in gas or water, or willing to pursue such certification during employment.
