**YOUR ROLE**

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Watch Component Buyer to support our purchasing operations by sourcing high-quality watch components.

 Reporting to the Purchasing Director, you will manage supplier relationships, build sourcing strategies, and ensure timely, cost-effective procurement aligned with Maison requirements.

 

**PLAYING YOUR PART**

You will:

* Manage RFQs: Select suppliers, negotiate prices, logistics, and quality; award business.
* Propose cost avoidance and TCO strategies; identify and execute cost optimization initiatives.
* Support internal stakeholders throughout projects.
* Define and implement sourcing strategies.
* Manage supply chain risk and ensure business continuity.
* Reduce lead times, inventory, and logistics costs.
* Ensure compliance with Group rules and responsible practices.
* Develop partnerships with key suppliers, evaluate supplier performance.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
* Contribute to the CSR roadmap.
* Lead/participate in cross-functional projects.
* Create and implement supplier spend/performance dashboards; follow market trends.

 

**WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL?**

Success in this role will require:

* Deep understanding of sourcing strategies, supplier performance evaluation, and relationship management.
* 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar position ideally in the luxury industry.
* Possesses strong communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
* Thrive in a global team environment, demonstrating adaptability, reliability, proactivity, and autonomy.
* Fluent in French and English, with additional language skills highly valued.
* Proven ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines.
