Warehouse Manager M/F

For a company recognised in the field of carpentry, active in the northern Vaud region and rapidly expanding, we are looking for a Wood Warehouse Manager to manage the organisation and smooth running of the warehouse, in direct connection with the workshop and site teams.

Your Missions

• Ensure the operational management of the wood warehouse (reception, storage, flow, tidying, safety).
• Organise the preparation of orders and kitting for the workshop and sites (wood, hardware, consumables).
• Plan and monitor supplies (supplier orders, deadlines, follow-ups), in coordination with management/workshop manager.
• Check the quality and conformity of deliveries (quantities, species, sections, moisture if applicable).
• Guarantee traceability (delivery notes, entries/exits, inventories) and maintain a reliable stock.
• Operate handling equipment (depending on equipment) and strictly apply HSE rules.
• Participate in continuous improvement: optimisation of locations, processes and preparation times.

Profile sought

• Proven experience in logistics/warehouse, ideally in wood, carpentry, joinery, building materials or industry.
• Good understanding of wood products (sections, qualities, uses) = important asset.
• Comfortable with tracking tools (Excel/simple ERP) and document management.
• Organisational skills, autonomy, reliability, team spirit, ability to prioritise.
• Forklift licence / SUVA (or willingness to obtain it) = asset.
• Driving licence: desired.
