On behalf of our client, a leading private bank based in Geneva, we are urgently seeking a Junior Client Register Officer for a 4-month full-time assignment, ideally starting in early or mid-July.
This opportunity is aimed at a junior profile wishing to develop their experience within a demanding and dynamic banking environment. You will join a team responsible for managing and controlling client data, playing a key role in payment validation, reviewing account structures, and preparing documentation for clients and the bank’s various business lines.
Beyond operational activities, you will have the opportunity to participate in continuous improvement initiatives, digitalisation, and process automation, in a constantly evolving environment.
This assignment takes place in a context of high activity and could be extended depending on the organisation’s needs.
Main Responsibilities
- Analyse and control client account structures before any payment authorisation
- Verify the validity of signatures and ensure compliance with payment instructions
- Ensure consistency between internal procedures and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and provide contractual documents and financial reports necessary for client visits
- Produce customised financial reports upon request from managers and clients
- Respond to requests from various business lines regarding Client Register activities
- Participate in continuous process improvement and standardisation of working methods
- Contribute to digitalisation, automation, and optimisation projects of operational activities
- Maintain a high level of quality, accuracy, and reliability in file processing
- Effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines
We are looking for a profile meeting the following criteria:
- Vocational training certificate (CFC), Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally in banking, finance, economics, management, or information systems
- First professional experience or internship in a banking, financial, or administrative environment is an asset
- Junior profile wishing to develop skills within the banking sector
- Excellent learning ability and strong motivation to grow in a demanding environment
- Rigour, attention to detail, and concern for quality
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt quickly to priorities
- Strong interest in digitalisation, automation, and new technologies
- Knowledge of or interest in tools such as Python, SQL, low-code solutions, or artificial intelligence technologies is an advantage
- Good command of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
- Knowledge of Avaloq is an asset
- Team spirit, service orientation, and excellent interpersonal skills
- Curiosity, commitment, and willingness to actively contribute to collective success
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken. (Knowledge of German is an advantage)
