Your mission in Bienne

Within a team of three to five people, you are co-responsible for the maintenance and care of municipal trees. Together, we plant and care for trees, pruning them according to best practices and felling them if necessary. We assess the stability of the crown, the safety of the anchorage, and the resistance to breakage of the trees, then take appropriate measures based on our findings. We identify damage, pests, and diseases affecting the trees.

The profile we dream of

• Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as forestry lumberjack or horticulturist
• Experience in tree protection and ecology would be an asset
• Category B driving licence, ideally with trailer (category BE)

It goes without saying that you are flexible and consider working a few weekends a year (municipal green space cleaning rounds, snow clearing in winter) as a welcome change in your daily routine.
