We are looking for a Thermal Operator for our Steam & Gas Operations sector

Your mission:

You ensure the operation of energy and utilities production and distribution facilities for the entire Monthey chemical site

• Operate complex energy production facilities (steam, thermoelectricity, industrial and demineralised water, compressed air and technical gases) according to current regulations and standards
• Prepare and carry out commissioning and shutdown manoeuvres of production units
• Ensure the proper functioning of the installations from an economic, technical and environmental perspective
• Report and remedy faults to ensure uninterrupted production and distribution of all energies.
• Perform monitoring rounds according to current service instructions.
• Carry out laboratory analyses related to the production of demineralised water and boiler water
• Participate in various maintenance and preventive upkeep tasks
• Contribute at all times to the safety of people and installations

• A technical CFC or equivalent training
• The federal thermal operator certificate (if not, the employee commits to follow on-the-job training to obtain the federal thermal operator certificate)
• The ability to work in teams, including weekends and nights (5-team rotation)
• A valid category B driving licence
• Several years of experience in an industrial environment
• Good ability to manage stressful situations
