Thermal Operations and Maintenance SpecialistThe Thermal Unit's mission is to guarantee SIG customers a quality supply of thermal energy, while ensuring continuity of service in a safe environment. It is notably responsible for the maintenance and operation of structural thermal networks, such as Geniterre and energy at the service of a sustainable Geneva.- Participate in the preventive and corrective maintenance of production, distribution, and substation equipment.- Diagnose faults in the CMMS, with external partners, and perform preventive maintenance, meter readings.- Operate, drive, and adjust installations to ensure continuity of supply and energy efficiency.- Optimize the performance of installations (heat pump performance coefficients, boiler efficiency, hydraulic balancing).- Adjust operating parameters in the installations to increase the share of renewable energies in the networks.- Ensure rigorous monitoring of interventions and technical data.Personality and skills:- Team spirit, ease of communication, availability, stress management, open-mindedness, learning capacity.- Solid technical skills in at least one of the following fields: electricity, mechanics, refrigeration, or heating.- Availability for on-call duty.- Residence located a maximum of 30 minutes from the Lignon site.- Aptitude for working at heights and in confined spaces requiring good physical condition.- Clean criminal record required for certain access.- Driving license desired.- CFC or technical school diploma in a technical branch (electricity, mechanics, refrigeration, heating, or equivalent).Joining SIG means participating in change!SIG is a local public company serving the population, businesses, and public authorities of Geneva.
