To support the preparation, execution, and documentation of mechanical and material tests, they are looking for a:
Technical Testing Lab Assistant
The job is in Basel, Switzerland, and the contract is until the end of 2026 with potential extension.
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Sample preparation: prepare dental materials for testing, following the relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs), with familiarity with the lab equipment
- Test execution: assist with the mechanical and material property tests
- Documentation management and archiving: record test results and maintain organised archives to ensure traceability
- Laboratory maintenance: clean and calibrate equipment in observance of safety protocols
Your Profile:
- Relevant Swiss working/residency permit and/or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required
- High school diploma
- Technical vocational education and/or experience working in a dental laboratory setting, as a plus
- Familiarity with testing machines and equipment is an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office for documentation and data management
- Ability to execute complex tasks following detailed procedures and instructions
- Team-oriented and flexible approach, and eager to work in an international environment
- Strong inclination towards continuous learning
- Fluency in English, German is a plus
