100% TECHNICIANThe Municipality of Montreux is advertising a position for:Main tasks:- Conduct studies and develop preliminary projects with research into variants- Manage and establish projects, estimates, and calls for tender- Manage construction sites, establish measurements, and final accounts of executed works- Participate in the drafting of proposals, notices, and reports- Collaborate with the relevant municipal services during the planning and execution of development projects- Control developments at the interface between the public and private domain, inform plot owners and others regarding the public domain and municipal collectors- Participate in the management of public infrastructure- Manage public domain permits- Ensure compliance with investment budgets and accountsDesired profile:- Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (CFC) in civil engineering, technician, or equivalent- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in civil engineering project management and construction site supervision- Good knowledge of road construction techniques and underground networks- Knowledge of standards in the field of road construction and underground networks- Knowledge of the Standardized Item Catalog (CAN) and legislation related to the activity, particularly the law on public procurement- Writing skills and reliable spelling- Ability to negotiate, interpersonal skills, and sense of public service- Rigorous and meticulous person- Sense of responsibility and discretion- Knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) and CAN software (Messerli or similar)- Proficiency in MS Office toolsStart date: September 1st or by arrangementFurther information can be obtained from the department head.Are you ready to take on this challenge?
