?? About the Role

We are looking for a full-time Technical Sales Representative to join our Swiss office. This role is ideal for a dynamic, early-career professional (aged 25–30) with a technical background in PV or energy engineering who is eager to bridge the gap between innovation and client needs. 

You will play a pivotal role in understanding customer challenges in PV asset management and positioning our advanced AI-powered software as the best solution for their needs. 

You’ll work closely with our global sales, product, and engineering teams in Switzerland and India. 

?? Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of SmartHelio’s products and effectively communicate their value to technical and business stakeholders to solve their technical challenges. 
  • Actively identify and engage potential clients across Europe and Latin America. 
  • Set up meetings or calls between potential customers. 
  • Build trusted relationships with technical & commercial stakeholders and manage a pipeline of interested prospects. 
  • Maintain accurate lead and opportunity records via HubSpot CRM. 
  • Support the end-to-end sales cycle, from initial contact to signed deal. 

? Your Profile

  • Degree in Electrical, PV, Energy Engineering, or a related technical discipline. 
  • Fluent in English and another language (ideally, Spanish or German). 
  • 1–3 years of experience in technical sales or client-facing roles (internships or projects in renewable energy a preference). 
  • Entrepreneurial experience and/or worked in startups, and thrive in dynamic, high-ownership environments. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Curious, proactive, and driven to create impact in the energy space. 
  • Willingness to travel across Europe and abroad for client visits or conferences.
