Your tasks:

• Technical leadership of two employees as well as main responsibility for the training of apprentice automation technicians

• As deputy head of department, you are responsible for the management and organisation of the maintenance department as well as the expert network

• Development and optimisation of work processes in special machine construction as well as on existing systems (Beckhoff controls, ABB robots)

• Management and support of projects in special machine construction - from creating electrical schematics (EPLAN) through procurement of components to the design of controls and commissioning of systems

• Preparation of technical documentation including risk analyses and conformity assessments

Your profile:

• Completed training as an automation technician, supplemented by further training with a federal certificate of competence or at HF/FH level

• Several years of experience in the maintenance of complex production systems as well as sound basic knowledge in programming machine controls, ideally with Beckhoff PLC and ABB robots

• Experience in project management in the field of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or automation, with which you actively drive the further development of our systems

• Initial leadership experience in dealing with employees is an advantage but not a must
