Teacher of Mathematics
100% – August 2026 to July 2028
Responsibilities:
- Effectively deliver the teaching and learning of Mathematics across the secondary school
- Participate in the design, development, implementation, and review of lower secondary, IGCSE, and IBDP Mathematics programmes
- Coordinate with curriculum leaders to ensure effective curriculum delivery, including the selection and efficient management of classroom resources
- Identify SEN students and work collaboratively to meet their needs
- Lead projects and work independently when necessary
- Promote the health and safety of the assigned classes
- Participate in professional development and contribute to regular staff training and meetings
- Engage in organizing trips, excursions, field trips, and extracurricular activities
- Enhance the professional standing of the teaching body
- Foster a positive relationship between Mathematics and the wider community through cooperation, publications, and competitions
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in a related subject and PGCE or equivalent
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching with at least three years of experience, preferably in an international setting
- Experience teaching IGCSE and IBDP Mathematics is preferred; however, MYPS and/or A level experience is a minimum requirement
- Excellent communication skills and capacity to work collaboratively within a team
- Ability to share a passion for teaching
- Capability to manage a diverse and demanding workload
- Skill in inspiring mixed culture and ability classes through the creation of challenging and engaging learning opportunities for all students
- Support for student needs in both learning and pastoral matters
- Clear criminal records
