Description
- Teach German Language B across the International Section and the German Intensive Year (Grades), with the possibility of Language A teaching depending on experience and departmental needs
- Foster students' linguistic proficiency and intercultural understanding, encouraging curiosity, confidence, and authentic communication
- Design engaging lessons that develop all four language skills in line with IB philosophy and assessment standards
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to create interdisciplinary learning opportunities and contribute to a cohesive language curriculum across grades
- Participate actively in the school's academic and pastoral life, supporting the holistic development of every student
- Bachelor's degree in German or a related field, a Master's degree is required for teaching in Matura classes
- Recognised teaching qualification/certificate
- Experience teaching students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds
- Teaching experience in an international school setting
- A motivated teacher with excellent pedagogical and classroom management skills
- Experience or knowledge of the IB Diploma Programme is a strong asset
- EU/EFTA citizenship (or eligibility for a valid Swiss work permit)
- A trustworthy, collaborative, and student-centred educator who enjoys working within an international school community
