Teacher in Market Gardening


Your areas of activity with us

  • Develop the content of our new study programme "Specialised Crops with a Focus on Market Gardening" and implement it from the autumn semester 2027-2028
  • Teach core elements of the programme as well as some courses at master’s level
  • Competently design, organise and supervise bachelor’s and master’s theses
  • Establish and develop your own activities in research and services by acquiring third-party funding
  • Build and actively maintain a strong network within the sector and in research

Your qualifications, ideally

  • University, ETH or UAS degree in plant sciences, doctorate preferred
  • Strong personal initiative, sense of responsibility, team spirit and willingness to work interdisciplinarily
  • Several years of professional experience in market gardening outside academia, established network within the profession, research and public authorities, and long-standing experience in applied research
  • Ideally, qualification for higher education teaching and related tasks
  • Native German or French speaker with good knowledge of the other language
