Aufgabe
On behalf of a client based in Geneva, we are seeking a System Engineer with native-level proficiency in French and very good knowledge of English. Key responsibilities include:
- Administer and maintain the firm's IT systems (Windows and Linux servers, virtualization solutions, storage solutions).
- Administer and maintain all network equipment (LAN, WAN, etc.).
- Provide level 3 support for all systems and train IT support teams.
- Monitor infrastructure elements related to backups.
- Participate in and manage projects related to migrations to new technologies.
- Maintain and develop the configuration of network and telecommunications equipment.
- Optimize the performance and availability of Microsoft environments.
- Write the documentation and procedures necessary for system operation.
Anforderungen
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar position (excluding internships and training).
- Proficiency in Microsoft On Premises and Cloud environments and products (Windows Server, Exchange, SharePoint).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft SQL databases.
- Excellent knowledge of VMware and Citrix environments.
- Excellent knowledge of Powershell scripting for automation.
- Very good knowledge of storage and backup solutions.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Azure, and Intune.
- French C2, Englisch C1
- University degree in computer science or equivalent.
