For our CC Product Development team in Neuchatel, Switzerland, we are looking for a (Sr.) Sensory Evaluation Engineer who will plan, manage, develop and implement sensory evaluation, consumer tests and projects to guide and support PMI Combustible Business.
You will:
* Manage internal as well as external sensory and consumer panels by:
* * Defining, planning and coordinating sensory evaluation/training sessions by providing clear instructions to panel leader.
* Building and maintain efficient collaboration with internal customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of sensory results.
* Analyzing potential sensory evaluation issues, recommend and support implementation of appropriate corrective actions to ensure high quality of sensory evaluation results and high performing panel.
* Collaborate with internal customers to establish products' requirements / sensory objectives and define and implement appropriate sensory tests/projects.
* Develop and implement appropriate sensory evaluation methodologies across affiliates to support product deployment considering timelines, available resources and priorities.
* Build efficient collaboration with affiliates as well as central functions to align sensory methodologies and ensure high quality results across affiliates.
* Analyze, review, interpret, report and communicate sensory results to support the product lifecycle and quality, and prepare and present clear recommendations for further products' improvement.
* Generate sensory evaluation reports in compliance with scientific excellence and good documentation procedures, maintaining data integrity and data traceability.
* Carry out all sensory activities according to the defined procedures and ensure that PMI Compliance Policies, standards, and laws relating to these activities are fully respected, integrated and understood by partners.
* Collaborate with internal partners to review, maintain and complement - if needed - relevant QMS documents in the frame of Sensory Evaluation activities.

We-re looking for someone with:
* Minimum a bachelor-s degree, preferably, a background in sensory science
* Experience of 2-5 years in sensory science or blending in combustible category
* Experience in product quality assurance would be a strong advantage
* Expertise on various sensory evaluation techniques and preferably on applied statistics
* Knowledge of statistical software (Xlstat)
* Excellent communication skills and good ability to work in a team
* MS office tools
* Fluency in English
