For a pharmaceutical company in the Neuchâtel region, we are looking for a Production Manager - Spray Drying.PRODUCTION MANAGER - SPRAY DRYINGMain mission:The role consists of managing continuous production operations, ensuring the reliability and performance of spray drying processes. You guarantee performance objectives, quality compliance, equipment safety, and adherence to regulatory requirements, while managing teams and leading improvement projects.Tasks:- Manage daily spray drying operations to ensure optimal product quality, high yield, and constant efficiency.- Monitor and adjust critical process parameters (inlet/outlet temperatures, flow rates, humidity levels).- Guarantee compliance with schedules and production objectives.- Verify product compliance with specifications and current quality standards.- Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) teams for sampling, analyses, investigations, and process adjustments.- Implement corrective and preventive actions in case of deviations or non-conformities.- Manage, train, and support staff to ensure safe, efficient performance in compliance with procedures.- Plan shift schedules for teams and allocate resources optimally.- Promote a work culture of rigor and continuous improvement.- Supervise priority preventive maintenance and cleaning activities for the spray dryer and auxiliary equipment.- Identify and report malfunctions, then coordinate interventions with maintenance teams to ensure rapid repairs and maintain accurate logs related to equipment and technical interventions.- Ensure strict compliance with safety, hygiene, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) rules in the drying zone.- Conduct safety briefings and participate in investigations following incidents or near-misses.- Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.- Analyze production data to optimize process performance and energy efficiency.- Participate in industrial trials related to new products or process improvements.- Propose initiatives aimed at reducing costs, strengthening process robustness, and improving product quality consistency.- Prepare daily and weekly production reports, as well as tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).- Ensure rigorous maintenance of batch records and logs in accordance with quality and regulatory requirements.Profile:- Technical degree at Bachelor level in industrial production, chemical processes, industrial pharmacy, or equivalent.- Minimum 10 years of experience in Spray Dried Dispersion, ideally on PSD45+ equipment, with solid experience in team management.- Mastery of process control systems (PLC / SCADA).- Good knowledge of GMP requirements and safety rules in a pharmaceutical environment.- Confirmed experience in project management with a strong sense of organization.- Analytical skills and ability to solve problems.- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and report to management.- Proficiency in French and English, both oral and written. jidbd0aa52aen jit0416aen jpiy26aen
