Specialized Educator - Astres Sector - Permanent/Fixed-term contract - Activity rate to be agreed uponDeployed across several sites, the Institution de Lavigny consists of a neurological hospital across two sites, two accommodation departments for adults with disabilities, with intellectual and physical disabilities respectively, a specialized school, and a sector and accommodation department is recruiting. We are looking for a specialized educator for the Astres sector - Permanent/Fixed-term contract - Activity rate to be agreed upon.At the Institution de Lavigny, in the Astres Sector, we support adults with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) associated with behavioral disorders on a daily basis. The Astres sector is composed of 3 living areas. Their reality is to support men and women from 18 to 80 years old living with an intellectual disability and behavioral disorders.Main mission:- Work in human-sized living areas.- Decode behaviors of complex profiles to better understand needs.- Create secure benchmarks and use adapted communication tools (PECS, AAC).- Accompany with precision, between a structuring framework and proof of patience and consistency in the face of sometimes difficult situations, days combining support in daily life activities and supervised activities, thought out for each person and conducted over the long term.- Ensure the physical and mental well-being of residents, be attentive to their state of health, and intervene quickly if necessary (nurses, general practitioners, and psychiatrists present within the Institution).- Be a trusted contact person, capable of understanding the emotions behind actions.- Build and adapt customized individual projects.- Work in close collaboration with an experienced multidisciplinary team.- Encourage and maintain good relationships with families and legal representatives.Profile:- Specialized educator with an ES or HES level degree, in the field of specialized education or ASE or equivalent title.- Developed analytical skills allowing for fine analysis of complex situations and intervention strategies.- Experience or strong interest in supporting complex profiles.- Trained or sensitized to approaches: ABA, TEACCH, PECS, AAC (a desire to learn, share, and evolve with the team and the people supported).We offer:- Working conditions governed by the CCT of the Vaud parapublic social sector.- A salary in line with the function and compliant with the CCT of the Vaud parapublic sector, accompanied by benefits related to mobility (parking, contribution to public transport costs).- Continuous training and specialized supervision (notably around ASD and challenging behaviors), internal mobility, possible financing of diplomas, and a company restaurant offering varied meals at preferential rates, in a pleasant professional environment favoring exchanges.- A wide choice of sports and relaxation activities (yoga, fitness, aquagym, etc.) as well as massages, while enjoying regular company life events.- Flexible and continuous schedules according to the sectors, with the possibility of part-time work for an optimal balance between professional and private life.Information: Sector Manager.Looking for a new challenge?
