Specialized Collection Case ManagerJob DescriptionAre you interested in the field of debt collection?The Collection Department is responsible for the collection of amounts owed to the State of Vaud. As part of the collection of its various receivables, it may use debt enforcement procedures. It is also authorized to grant payment plans based on the financial situation of the debtor. To complete the existing team, the Collection Department is looking for a specialized case manager.Responsibilities- Analyze and process requests from debtors and judicial authorities- Research and gather the elements necessary for decision-making, compile the file, make decisions, including budgets, in anticipation of granting a payment facility, according to the standards for calculating the subsistence minimum- Ensure the compliance of received documents with legal requirements- Assess cases and take necessary actions based on specific circumstances (filing of debt enforcement requisitions, monitoring of debt enforcement)- File requests for provisional and/or definitive dismissal of objections- Render decisions for the lifting of objections within the framework of legal aid- Ensure the payment of legal counsel fees and court costs according to the decision of higher authorities within the framework of legal aid- Request necessary information from resident control offices, tax authorities, the Papillon software, Justices of the Peace, employers, Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy Offices, social services, and professional guardianships- Encode penal orders, judgments, and certificates of unsatisfied claimsFor further information, please consult the job description by clicking here or contact the Director of Collection.Profile- Commercial employee diploma or equivalent title- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in debt collection case management (debt enforcement offices, law firm, collection agency)- Level I specialized training desired- Sense of responsibility and ability to analyze and synthesize- Good legal knowledge (Civil Code, DEBA) and of the Swiss systemWho are we?At the General Directorate for Institutional Affairs and Municipalities (DGAIC), we promote collaboration between the ten prefectures of the canton and the municipalities.
