The Municipality of Montreux is advertising a position for a:

Main tasks:

• Carry out routine maintenance work on the communal public domain
• Participate in clearance work following bad weather and storms
• Participate in snow clearance and winter interventions
• Ensure cleanliness in the town and villages
• Maintain service premises, vehicles, installations, machines, equipment and tools

Desired profile:

• Extensive knowledge in mowing and general maintenance of the public domain
• Confidence in winter road maintenance (manual and mechanical)
• Knowledge of masonry and civil engineering work is an advantage
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience related to the field
• Knowledge of the communal network is an advantage
• Able to work in a team and independently
• Collaborative spirit and ability to show initiative
• Good communication skills
• Pragmatism and sense of responsibility

Special conditions:

• Holder of a driving licence for light vehicles (category B and BE)
• Licences M1 and M7 are an advantage
• Mastery of driving on snow and icy roads
• Availability and flexibility in working hours (on-call service or alarms, including Saturdays, Sundays and nights)
• Work on weekends and public holidays in rotation shifts according to the established schedule and needs
• Be able to reach the designated workplace within a maximum of 30 minutes to respond to alarms
• Be in good physical condition.
