The Itinerant Educational Service (SEI) is aimed at children living with a disability, experiencing developmental delay, or whose development is compromised, from birth up to the first year of schooling at most. Outpatient services are provided in the family context or other living environments of the child in partnership with the family and other relevant professionals. This support aims to guarantee, through specialised pedagogical-educational accompaniment, organised in partnership with the parents and at their request, early support to ensure and strengthen the child's development and prepare them for social and school integration. The SEI is part of the Outpatient Support, Reception and Accommodation Competence Domain (SAmAH) of the Les Perce-Neige Foundation and is seeking a Specialised Early Education Pedagogue at 65% to fulfil its mission.
Your responsibilities:
- In partnership with parents, provide specialised pedagogical-educational support to children aged 0 to 5 years presenting a disability or developmental delay.
- Develop and implement individualised intervention projects in collaboration with families and professionals.
- Support the child’s development through activities and stimulations adapted to their daily life and environment.
- Accompany and support parents in their educational role, their procedures, and the coordination of care.
- Promote social inclusion and the child’s participation in various living environments.
- Work closely with the professional network and ensure coordination around the child.
- Prepare and support the transition to compulsory schooling.
Your profile:
- You hold a HES educator qualification or an equivalent recognised title.
- You have proven experience with children with special educational needs as well as with their families.
- You appreciate teamwork while being autonomous.
- Relational and organisational skills are essential.
- You possess good communication skills.
- A category B driving licence and vehicle are indispensable due to frequent travel within the canton.
