"Modulo" Workshop

Permanent contract at 84.89% - Annualised hours

The specialised schools des Matines, des Semailles, L’Orée, La Violette and L’Elan-TEM support a total of 160 children, aged 4 to 20, divided into three centres: TDI (Intellectual Development Disorders), TSA (Autism Spectrum Disorders), and SMP (Sensory-motor and Multiple Disabilities).

 

The young people ofL’Elan-TEM need you!

 

L’Elan-TEM welcomes 54 adolescents and young adults by offering socio-professional pre-apprenticeships and specialised teaching in classrooms and workshop-classes. This structure also has a HASO-A unit that promotes learning related to social skills, for young people with intellectual development disorders and ASD.

YOU WILL BE ESSENTIAL FOR

  • Implementing individual educational projects and conducting activities including cognitive, sensory-motor, psycho-affective aspects and social skills.
  • Supporting and encouraging the autonomy of young people in all daily life activities according to their needs (including mealtimes, care and hygiene, mobility, others).
  • Designing and using educational tools adapted to the heterogeneous difficulties of young people.
  • Engaging in interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Ensuring partnership with the network, families, legal representatives.

YOUR PROFILE

  • MSP diploma or Educator with experience as MSP
  • Additional training in the field of ASD, an asset
  • Experience in the field of disability and more particularly intellectual disability and autism spectrum disorder
  • Sense of responsibility and daily autonomy
  • Great adaptability and organisational skills
  • Ability to transmit knowledge and ease in interpersonal contacts
