The Saphir Foundation, a multi-mission foundation (psychogeriatrics, geriatrics, adult psychiatry), is active in the medico-social field in the canton of Vaud and in the reception and support of people weakened in their physical and mental integrity during their life process.

We are looking for our establishment EMS Contesse in Croy, which accommodates 36 people and specialises in geriatrics:

Whatever their role, the professionals of the Saphir Foundation share a common will, that of supporting people daily to enable them to concretely experience the institutional service strategy "like at home". That is to say, to preserve their habits as much as possible, to offer a response adapted to their wishes and, through genuine multidisciplinary collaboration, to enable the well-being and happiness of the people.

As a socio-educational assistant, you support people in daily life activities, taking into account the support plan and their level of autonomy. In collaboration with the team or independently, you are responsible for preparing and organising daily socio-cultural activities for the residents and, of course, for accompanying them in their implementation.

YOUR BACKGROUND - YOUR QUALITIES AND SKILLS

• Federal VET Diploma as socio-educational assistant or recognised equivalent
• Driving licence (manual and automatic vehicles)
• Solid experience in residential care
• Adaptability and integration skills
• Ease of communication and collaboration
• Dynamic, attentive, flexible and organised personality
• Fluency in spoken and written French as well as proficiency with IT tools
• Your attitude is centred on the well-being of the person
