Démarche is a nonprofit organization established in March in Yverdon-les-Bains. Démarche is a learning and civic-minded company that brings together 13 structures or brands, all focused on developing human potential through various economic and cultural activities. The objective is twofold: to enhance employability and provide support for integration into the job market. Are you in the social field (ES, HES or equivalent) or do you hold a diploma in X field, or are you ready to fulfill the role of a social support worker? Do you have an interest in working in a residential environment and supporting individuals? Ideally, do you have some previous experience in a foster home or working with vulnerable populations? Do you possess good listening skills, responsibility, and the ability to work autonomously in handling varied situations and crises? Are you reliable, punctual, and comfortable in social interactions? As part of a new insertion measure with the DGEJ, Démarche is looking for two social support workers for its new project Avec Toît based in Clarens, CDI 10% on Sundays and on-call. The project aims to provide individualized support to about ten young adults around 18 years old and a temporary housing solution in our residence in Clarens while they look for permanent accommodation. A team consisting of two social workers, one social assistant, and one housing specialist supervises these missions. Responsibilities include ensuring an active and caring presence with residents, ensuring adherence to the living environment and internal rules, intervening in case of special situations, conveying relevant information to the team, and participating in maintaining a calm environment.
