The Early Childhood Service (SDPE) is responsible for implementing the early childhood policy of the City of Geneva by managing municipal reception facilities and supporting the subsidized reception structures. As part of the opening of the new early childhood reception facility - Guy-Olivier Segond nursery - in the new Praille-Acacias-Vernet district for the school year, we are looking for Assistants.Your mission and responsibilities:- Welcome and support beneficiaries, in order to provide quality service in the nursery, in accordance with the regulations in force.- Contribute to and implement actions related to the institutional and pedagogical project of the Early Childhood Service.- Supervise and evaluate interns or apprentices from the reception field and engage in discussions with individuals representing children.- Participate in restructuring groups.- Hold a recognized assistant diploma.- Demonstrate a high capacity for listening, good stress management, and ease of communication. - Show a proactive mindset and sense of responsibility. - Proficiency in English is an asset.Application deadline: Start date: Job classification: Class E of the salary scale.The application file must contain the following elements:- Cover letter and CV or, if not available, a completed job application form (to be downloaded from our website).- Copies of diplomas and work certificates.- Recent passport-sized photo.As part of the City of Geneva's recruitment process, it is decentralized.
