Assistant We support more than 500 children and adolescents with intellectual disabilities, multiple disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders throughout the canton of Neuchâtel on a daily basis. To complete our team for the temporary care unit in Neuchâtel, we are looking for a: Within this role, you will support children and young people aged 1 to 18 in a temporary, structured, and secure environment, in close collaboration with families and the involved professionals. Mission: Support children and young people in daily living activities (personal care, meals, community life), establish trust with beneficiaries, legal representatives, and the network. Provide individualized support, respectful of each beneficiary’s capabilities, needs, and interests. Promote the development of autonomy and daily well-being. Participate in team dynamics and continuity of the framework. Profile: CFC (Federal Certificate of Competence) of Assistant and/or complementary training in the field of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), intellectual disabilities and/or multiple disabilities. Strong interest in supporting children and adolescents with disabilities. Keen sense of quality and teamwork. Ability and flexibility, especially regarding specific hours (working between Wednesday and Sunday, as well as during certain school vacation periods). Hours vary by week, with shifts starting as early as 7:00 AM and ending no later than 8:30 PM. The position includes an average of weekends per month. We are closed for 7 weeks per year; vacations are planned and imposed.
