Join our team as a snow groomer operator at the Syndicat des Pistes - SID

The SID - Syndicat des Pistes des Rochers de Naye manages the eponymous ski area, located in an exceptional setting accessible only by a rack railway. The area includes:

• Two fixed rope tow ski lifts
• Two button lifts
• Two Pisten Bully snow groomers (two 400 winch models)
• One quad bike

The season runs from mid-December to the end of March. We are looking for passionate professionals to join our team and help provide an exceptional skiing experience for our visitors.

Responsibilities

As a snow groomer operator, your main duties will include:

• Driving and operating the snow groomers to ensure optimal preparation of the ski slopes.
• Performing routine maintenance on the snow groomers and reporting any technical issues.
• Collaborating with the team to ensure the safety and quality of the slopes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating snow groomers, ideally on Pisten Bully winch models.
• Good knowledge of grooming techniques and the specifics of ski areas.
• Ability to work in demanding winter conditions. (Good physical condition)
• Team spirit, autonomy and a sense of responsibility.
• Valid driving licence.

Specific constraints related to the particularity of the area

• Access to the facilities only via the rack railway (journey included in working hours).
• Two distinct areas separated by the mountain, connected only by the train. (Jaman and Naye)
• Nighttime walk down at the end of the shift following the railway track (journey included in working hours).
• Possibility of overnight stay on site depending on weather conditions.
