Job Description

As part of your duties, you will be responsible for the preparation, organisation, and full monitoring of your earthworks sites, from the preparation phase to their final completion.

  • Prepare sites on technical, organisational, and financial plans.
  • Plan the different stages of the work, including personnel, equipment, and machinery needs.
  • Organise the daily progress of the sites and ensure their operational execution.
  • Coordinate teams, subcontractors, and various stakeholders.
  • Ensure ordering, supply, and availability of necessary materials and equipment.
  • Implement and monitor procedures related to quality, safety, and the environment.
  • Control the progress of work as well as adherence to deadlines and costs.
  • Ensure financial monitoring of the sites.
  • Prepare bids, supplementary offers, and measurements of completed work.
  • Participate in invoicing and control of executed services.
  • Attend site meetings and follow up on decisions made.
  • Maintain a professional quality relationship with clients, site management, and project partners.

Profile Sought

  • You hold a recognised qualification as a site manager.
  • You have at least 5 years of proven experience in site management in Switzerland.
  • You have practical experience in earthworks.
  • You are proficient with common IT tools as well as the BauBit software.
  • You are comfortable with the technical, administrative, and financial monitoring of sites.
  • You are proactive, autonomous, organised, and possess a strong sense of responsibility.
  • You enjoy teamwork and know how to communicate effectively with the various stakeholders on a site.
