Job Description
As part of your duties, you will be responsible for the preparation, organisation, and full monitoring of your earthworks sites, from the preparation phase to their final completion.
- Prepare sites on technical, organisational, and financial plans.
- Plan the different stages of the work, including personnel, equipment, and machinery needs.
- Organise the daily progress of the sites and ensure their operational execution.
- Coordinate teams, subcontractors, and various stakeholders.
- Ensure ordering, supply, and availability of necessary materials and equipment.
- Implement and monitor procedures related to quality, safety, and the environment.
- Control the progress of work as well as adherence to deadlines and costs.
- Ensure financial monitoring of the sites.
- Prepare bids, supplementary offers, and measurements of completed work.
- Participate in invoicing and control of executed services.
- Attend site meetings and follow up on decisions made.
- Maintain a professional quality relationship with clients, site management, and project partners.
Profile Sought
- You hold a recognised qualification as a site manager.
- You have at least 5 years of proven experience in site management in Switzerland.
- You have practical experience in earthworks.
- You are proficient with common IT tools as well as the BauBit software.
- You are comfortable with the technical, administrative, and financial monitoring of sites.
- You are proactive, autonomous, organised, and possess a strong sense of responsibility.
- You enjoy teamwork and know how to communicate effectively with the various stakeholders on a site.
