We are currently looking for a Setter for our Jewellery/Watchmaking/Industry sector.



Setter (M/F/D) at 100%



Your mission

The setter carries out adjustment work on specific installations and/or machines to ensure the production of products. He or she is responsible for correcting and controlling manufacturing processes. He or she guarantees manufacturing quality, respect for deadlines, and productivity. He or she may be required to work in several sectors.

Your activities

Production

  • Adjust one or more machines
  • Monitor production (start-up, follow-up, supply)
  • Manage first-level maintenance
  • Intervene in case of "simple" breakdowns
  • Contact the maintenance service in case of breakdown
  • Complete production monitoring documents within the complex and collaborate closely with the system
  • Maintain order and cleanliness at the workstation
  • Load & unload machines
  • Propose solutions to improve Quality, Cost, and Delivery performance

Quality & Control

  • Correct all deviations in the manufacturing process
  • Carry out part inspections according to instructions and/or documents
  • Clean and maintain machines
  • Ensure the proper functioning of tooling from the start to the end of the series

Hygiene & Safety

  • Respect, know and apply hygiene and safety rules
  • Apply the safety charter

Communication & Training

  • Participate in continuous improvement (CIC, working group)
  • Collaborate with operators
  • Communicate all issues to his/her hierarchical superior
  • Support his/her superior and the company in internal training

Basic and continuous training:

  • Federal VET Diploma in a mechanical trade or equivalent training
  • Experience in machine adjustments desired
  • Mastery of conventional control devices
  • Reading technical drawings
  • Basic computer knowledge (data entry)

Start date: immediately

Contract type: Fixed-term contract (duration to be defined)

Hours: Daytime
